Additional Assembly Tips & Pointers

These assembly guides provide more detailed instructions for installing special parts that may be included with different furniture items such as slide rails or cam bolts.

These guides are published in PDF format. If your browser is unable to view them, you may need to install additional software like 'Adobe Reader' first (Link here:http://get.adobe.com/reader).

If you require a replacement instruction manual for a product you have purchased, please contact your retailer for a manual to be sent to you.

Before you begin:

  1. Please be sure to retain and carefully read the instruction manuals included with your product before assembling it.
Manuals for larger items contained in two or more boxes can typically be found in boxes labelled 'A'. (How to find the instruction manual).

  2. If you believe installation may take too much time, or if the parts are too heavy or cumbersome for you to move into place, your retailer may be able to refer you to a furniture assembly service who can assist you. More information can be found on the Assembly Services page - including a short list of furniture assembly services who we're familiar with.

  3. Check the labels and quantities of all panels, parts, & hardware ahead of time. It may help to lay them out on a clean surface where you can also check them for any damage or faults.

  4. Contact your retailer for assistance if you think a part is missing or faulty. Please note that some parts may still be in the boxes provided - but may have slipped out of sight into another compartment or partition in the box during transit.

  5. Products with "triple slide rails" are normally supplied such that the rails are fitted together in one piece. You may need to be separate them before installation.
    These triple slide rails are usually labelled W2 & X2, and Y2 & Z2.
